SALE OF GOODS
The following terms and conditions govern all transactions between us and any sale of goods by us to you. Please read them carefully. When you place an order to purchase goods from the website, and we have approved your payment details, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide in your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us (“your contract”). These terms and conditions, together with the prices displayed on our website, delivery details, contact details and any document expressly referred to in these terms and conditions, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the sale of goods by us to you. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We have partnered with Paypal to protect your personal information and credit or debit card details. Security is our highest priority. We exceed the most stringent industry standards: each piece of our infrastructure and each stage of our operations are designed with security in mind. All your details are encrypted (converted into secure code) to the maximum strength supported by your browser. We are level 1 PCI compliant and use 128-bit SSL encryption to ensure credit card data is safe and secure.
When you enter your card details, you are using Paypal’s secure server, which ensures your information is secure. Data storage on Paypal and the communication between The Kitchen Bookstore, Paypal and the worldwide banking networks is regularly audited by the banks themselves. Paypal employs sophisticated firewall technology and other security best practices to ensure only legitimate access is allowed.
All transactions are processed via Paypal in Philippine Pesos, either through your Paypal account, or on your credit card through Paypal.
Once an order has been placed through the website, you will receive email confirmation from both Paypal and The Kitchen Bookstore. If we are unable to fulfil your order due to availability or any other difficulty, you will be refunded for the unavailable item. Please ensure you have read through our Terms and Conditions before you place an order.
